Dansmith J. Aisevbo was born in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria in 1957. He received the B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees from Bethel University of Biblical Studies, 8252 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, (International Providential Training Center – Nigeria), in 2005, 2006, and 2008, respectively. In 2004, he joined the Management of Bethel University of Biblical Studies, Benin City, Nigeria as the Administrator. In 2008, he became the Director of the Undergraduate School (Diploma/Associate Degree Program), and a Lecturer with the Graduate School of Theology in the same year, where he is currently a Visiting Lecturer. Between 1992-2003, he served as the Director, Office of the Secretary General of the International General Peoples’ Congress (IGPC) in Tripoli-Libya. He has held several Lecturing and Facilitating positions at the Secretariat of International General Peoples’ Congress, Tripoli-Libya (1992-2003), West Africa Liberation Theology Training Center, Nigeria (2013-date), Herald Bible College, Benin City – Nigeria (2015), GMOII Biblical Entrepreneurial Leadership Academy – Nigeria (2011-date), and GeneratioNext Leaders Institute @ Secondary Schools in Nigeria (2012-date).
His professional interests and research focus on Liberation Theology Advocacy, Short-Term Cross-Cultural Missions, and Raising GeneratioNext Leaders @ Secondary Schools.
His projects includes pioneering the planting of House – Church Centers for Africans and Asians in six State capitals of Libya in 2002/2003 under the Church of Christ The King (Anglican Communion in Tripoli, Benghazi, and Sebha in Libya), and CGMI Church Plant in Cairo, Egypt in 2009/2010.
Currently, he is the President/Executive Director, Groupworld Missions Outreach International (Biblical Training Institute), Chief Facilitator, Groupworld Missions Outreach Int’l Inc Short/Long-Term Mission Training Service – Nigeria, and a Member of Advisory Board to many Bible Schools and NGOs in Nigeria.
He involves his Students/Trainees in a variety of Community Service, Problem-Solving, and ICT based activities that provide them with opportunities to use their skills and gifts to help others to add values to humanity and develop Community.
A strong Advocate of Liberation Theology Concepts – Equality and Justice. He is also a member/advocate, Tax Justice and Governance coalition.
Amb. (Rev.) Dansmith J. Aisevbo, D.Min is the President / Founder, Groupworld Missions Outreach Int’l Inc (Center for Cross-cultural Missions Training Service – Nigeria), a lecturer of Bethel University (College) of Biblical Studies. He’s married with four (4) children.
